Dr. Hossein Kazemi, a faculty member of the Horticulture Sciences Department took part as an instructor in the training course titled “GIS in Agronomic Sciences” at the International Summer School named “Advanced Skills in Agricultural Research: Sustainable Development Challenges in BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization Countries”

This program was arranged by RUDN University in Moscow in collaboration with the Russian Agricultural Bank, with the support of BRICS and universities from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Over eighty students from various countries received training from thirteen instructors across 13 courses over two weeks during this summer school.

A wide range of technologies, trends and innovations in the fields of plant sciences, digital agriculture, statistical analysis and plant genetics were presented.
